Project work in house from this year

Dear Students,

From Monday, the ECE department will see a change in the environment. Students of final year ECE will begin their project work within the department.

What it means to you :

1.  You can peep into what is in store in the future.
2.  You can develop professional relationships with teams involved in projects.
3. You can focus on your areas of interest and test your skills and gaps in skills.
4. You can develop confidence by looking at how other are doing things.
5. You can begin toying with your own IDEAS and testing their feasibility.
6. You can help your seniors in your own way and form bonds that will fetch you dividends in the long run.
7. You can go back to text book based knowledge gathering with an eye on realising these concepts practically.
8. You can understand the competitive environment that exists today and improve your attributes to match competition.
9. You will see for yourself, how invigorating it will be if your knowledge seeking effort are activity based.
10. More healthy and technical discussions among students and faculty

The department will put its best efforts in seeing that all students are benefitted from this exercise.

More on this later....

  1. Q6. Does this mean I am not allowed to do a project outside ? Like in BSNL, DRDL, HAL, ECIL etc. ? In what way are these firms superior compared to the above companies ?

    1. Yes, a valid question. Students will have to offer enough justification before given permission to do a project outside. Simply stated, it boils down to answering one simple question : “What is your contribution to the project ?” It means, that the project should not merely be a study project. This will be explained to the students (and their parents) on a case to case basis.

I DIDN'T GET THE POINT WHAT DID YOU EXPLAINED IN THIS QUESTION.........?
