Guest Lecture

Mr Anand Sastry , Managing Director of Qolsys, India visited our college on 20.09.2013 between 2 and 4 pm with his team of professionals to interact with our students and senior faculty on their area of expertise. The visit was a warm-up exercise with a view to taking more inputs from their team working in their operations centre in Hi Tec city.

Vice-Principal SVIT & Head-CSE Mr Anil Choudhary and Head-IT Mr SVS Sarma along with their senior faculty and students graced the occasion.

The interaction started with a brief technical overview of their innovative energy management application on Android platform. Then, the team interacted with the students and gave their views on the market scenario, entrepreneurship development, preparing for the competitive world through good planning during the student days , resume preparation, interviews and honing of technical ,programming and attitudinal skills.

Mr. Anand Sastry - Managing Director of Qolsys India. Over 20 years of experience developing telecommunications and data networking systems. Started career at Bell Communications Research/Bell Labs and later with ADC Telecom, Broadcom in various engineering, marketing and sales roles. Founder of Qolsys and Copperhead Systems. BE (EE) from City College of New York, New York.

Mr. Gunjan Gupta: Over 9 Years of techno functional experience in telecom, ERP and Home Security System industry with esteemed professional certifications like PGCBM from XLRI Jamshedpur, Gunjan is specialized in Enterprise and Business Architecture development. Graduated from NIT Calicut, he started his career with Verizon and held lead positions in Oracle. Currently, he is driving his team for developing the next generation IQ Panels.

Mr. Vijay Manem: B E (Hons) Computer Science BITS PILANI Rajasthan. Over 9 years of experience working at Motorola India Electronics Pvt Ltd, Samsung India software operations pvt ltd, Wipro and Copperhead Systems in developing Mobile and Android systems development.

Mr. V.Amarnath: B.Tech from MREC ,Diploma in Embedded systems. Over 7 years of experience at Aricent, Alcatel-Lucent and Copperheadsystems developing carrier grade networking systems(L2/L3 Stack Development on different hardware flavous),End-to-End networking solution development.
